Smoke Detectors Save Lives

As a service to our residents, the Carterville Fire Department offers free smoke detectors to anyone living in our service area who cannot afford one. We also offer installation assistance to anyone who needs it. We don't ask for any personal financial information. We trust our financially and physically able residents not to abuse the program. Fill out the form below if:

You do not have a smoke detector and would like to apply for one.
You do have a smoke detector but need help with installation.
